Girls’ Division 1 Soccer team won yesterday 2-0 verse Petitcodiac and are off to the finals against Maplehurst tomorrow! Great teamwork and respect towards your opponents. The girls have a practice today afterschool at RES.
Student Voice today at noon in the library, pizza will be provided. Each class should send one representative and if it’s a split class, there can be one rep from each grade level. Mr. Bouma will be the teacher for this meeting.
There will be an open gym for any girls interested in Volleyball today afterschool in the gym until 4:15 pm. Tryouts for the girls’ volleyball team will be held next week.
Boys and Girls Club – Today in the theatre at lunch. Teachers, please encourage all Newcomers to attend! The Boys & Girls Club is a youth organization that provides education, recreation, wellness, and skills development programs to youth the age of 6 – 18. Today they are here to talk about The Newcomer youth program! It has been established for the past 4 years and has reached over 800 youths and provided over 3000 services. Come check out what they have to offer!
Tryout for boys’ volleyball will be this Thursday and Friday afterschool, from 2:45 pm until 4:15 pm.
RMS! Are you ready for our first school dance of the year? Our Fall Dance will be held October 26th from 6 pm until 8 pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance on School Cash Online for $5.00. Students and staff are welcome to wear a costume. See you there!
RMS, next week starting Monday October 30th to Thursday November 2nd, we are holding our Fall Spirit Week. Monday is PJ Day, Tuesday is Costume Day (reminder: No fake blood, No masks, No weapons), Wednesday is the class colour challenge, and Thursday is staff impersonation day!
The Compassion Collections group will be collecting items for those less fortunate in the Greater Moncton area. They are seeking the following new items; toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, razors/shaving cream, deodorant, mittens/gloves, hats, socks, jackets, sweaters, underwear as well as heat activated hand warmers. Items can be brought to the office or Mrs. Landers’ room 1106. We would like all items collected by Friday, December 1st.
This is a reminder to all dance committee members to please return their permission slips as soon as possible to Mme. H. The permission slips are due on Wednesday, October 25th.
